Harmonia, the string chamber ensemble of GMChorale, was founded in 2020 during the quiet of the pandemic and takes its name from the Greek goddess of harmony and concord. Formed as a flexible core of musicians, the ensemble adapts in size to meet the needs of GMChorale’s diverse repertoire, performing both as collaborators with the Chorale and as an independent chamber group. Harmonia made its debut in November 2021 in GMChorale’s fall mainstage production and continues to bring depth, color, and artistry to the ensemble’s performances.
